DJ’s/ Disc Jockey’s, the gods of the 21st century, (what l believe anyway). They create and re-create art for all people with all different genre types. Remixing has developed dramatically over the past 20 years, as it is continuously reforming itself.
“A remix is a piece of media which has been altered from its original state by adding, removing, and/or changing pieces of the item. … Most commonly, remixes are a subset of audio mixing in music and song recordings. “ Remixing is a gift from the music gods, it gives the average Joe a chance to create something incredible, even if it sounds terrible you can make something you personally love.
Over the years remixing has transformed from simple mixing to more technical and advance mixing, this is shown through DMC world championship in 1990, compared to the DMC world championship in 2016.

The change in technique and skills is obvious in these two videos. The advancement in technology and the change in society both play a vital role in the evolution of mixing.
